Current Status
34resets.com does not currently host comments, reviews, forums, or any other public posting feature.
These guidelines apply now to any 34Resets space we do run, including messages you send us and any community we host on another platform, and they are published in advance so the standard is set before any on site community feature launches.
What This Place Is For
34Resets is about comebacks. People show up here in the middle of rebuilding something: a business, a career, a body, a family situation, a life. That takes a room where it is safe to be honest about a hard stretch.
So the one rule underneath all the others is simple. Do not make it harder for someone to be honest here.
What We Expect
- Be decent. Disagree with the idea, not the person.
- Be honest. Share your real experience, including the parts that did not work.
- Give people room. Someone in a hard stretch does not need your judgment.
- Add something. A reply that helps beats a reply that scores a point.
- Respect privacy. Yours and other people's. Do not post someone else's private information, and think twice before posting your own.
- Stay on topic. This is not a general purpose argument venue.
What Is Not Allowed
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation, including coordinated pile ons.
- Hate speech or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Sexual content, sexual harassment, or anything involving minors in a sexual context. Anything involving a minor is reported to the authorities.
- Violent content, glorification of violence, or threats against anyone.
- Doxxing. Posting someone's private information without their consent.
- Spam. Repetitive posting, unsolicited promotion, affiliate links, engagement bait, and mass messaging.
- Scams and fraud, including pyramid schemes, get rich quick pitches, fake giveaways, and phishing.
- Impersonation. Pretending to be us, our staff, or anyone else.
- Financial, medical, or legal advice presented as professional advice. Share your experience. Do not tell someone what to do with their money, their health, or their legal situation as though you are their professional.
- Income or outcome guarantees. Do not promise anyone that they will make money, grow a business, or achieve a specific result. We do not make those promises and neither should anyone posting here.
- Infringing content. Do not post material you do not have the right to post, including copyrighted work, and do not post 34Resets recordings in violation of the Music License at
/legal/music-license. - Illegal activity, or anything that encourages it.
- Manipulation. Bots, fake accounts, vote manipulation, and artificial engagement.
Crisis And Safety
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. We are not a crisis service, we do not monitor posts in real time, and we cannot provide emergency help.
If you see a post suggesting someone may be at risk, report it to us and, where it is urgent, contact the relevant emergency or crisis service in that person's area directly. Do not wait on us.
Content You Post
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting in a space we operate, you give 34RESETS LLC permission to display, store, and share it within that space, as described in the Terms of Service at /legal/terms.
Anything you post publicly is public. Assume it can be seen, screenshotted, and shared. Do not post something you would not want quoted back to you.
How Moderation Works
We review reports and we may act on our own where we see something.
Depending on what happened, we may:
- Leave it alone.
- Remove the content.
- Ask you to change it.
- Give you a warning.
- Suspend your access temporarily.
- Remove your access permanently.
- Report it to a platform or to the authorities, where the law requires it or where someone is at risk.
We aim to be proportionate. A first mistake is usually a conversation. Deliberate harm, or repeating something after a warning, moves faster.
We are not obligated to publish anything, to keep anything published, or to explain every decision, although we will explain where it is reasonable to.
We do not remove content simply because someone disagreed with it or found it uncomfortable. Honest disagreement is the point.
Appealing A Decision
If we removed your content or restricted your access and you think we got it wrong, email hi@34resets.com with the subject line "Moderation Appeal", tell us what happened, and tell us why you think the decision was wrong.
A different look at it is genuinely available. We will respond.
Reporting Something
Email hi@34resets.com with the subject line "Report", and include a link or a screenshot, what happened, and anything else we should know.
If you are reporting something urgent involving someone's safety, say "URGENT" in the subject line, and contact emergency services as well. Do not rely on email alone for an emergency.
To report a copyright issue, follow the copyright complaints process in the Terms of Service at /legal/terms.
Changes
We may update these guidelines. When we do we change the "last updated" date at the top.
