Cookie Policy

This policy explains how 34resets.com uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies, and how you control them.

What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which also keep small amounts of data in your browser. This policy covers all of them and simply calls them cookies.

Cookies let a site remember things between page loads, such as which theme you chose or whether you already answered the cookie banner.

Your Choice

The first time you visit, we show a consent banner with three options: accept all, reject all, and customize by category. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting. It is one click, in the same place, presented the same way.

Optional cookies do not run until you allow their category. If you reject or close without choosing, only strictly necessary cookies run.

You can change your mind at any time. Open Cookie Preferences in the site footer, change your categories, and save. Your new choice takes effect immediately.

You can also clear cookies through your browser settings. If you clear them, we will ask for your choice again on your next visit, because the record of your choice is itself stored in a cookie.

Categories

Our consent tool offers five categories.

Strictly Necessary

Always active. These make the site work and cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot function or cannot be kept secure.

Currently in this category:

• Consent record. Stores your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page. Cookie name r34_consent.
• Theme preference. Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode so the site does not flash the wrong theme on load. Stored in browser local storage.
• Security and load balancing. Our hosting provider and our domain name provider may set short lived technical cookies to route your request correctly and to protect the site from abuse.

Functional

Off unless you allow them. These would remember preferences that improve your experience but are not required for the site to work.

Analytics

Off unless you allow them. These would tell us how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages are visited and where people leave.

Nothing is currently in this category. We do not load any analytics tool. No analytics package of any kind is installed on this site, so there is no vendor to name here. The category is reserved so that if we ever add one, it cannot run before you have allowed it.

If an analytics tool is added, this section will name the provider, its cookies, and how long they last, before it is switched on for anyone.

Performance

Off unless you allow them. These would measure page speed and errors so we can fix slow or broken pages.

Advertising

Off unless you allow them. These would support advertising and measurement of advertising.

Nothing is currently in this category and we have no plan to add anything. We do not run third party advertising on 34resets.com. We do not embed advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or data broker tags. We do not sell or share your information for cross context behavioral advertising.

Third Party Content

Some pages link out to services we do not run, such as streaming stores, online retailers, video platforms, and social networks. Once you follow a link and land on their site, that company's cookies and its policies apply, not ours.

If we ever embed a player, a map, or a widget directly into a page on 34resets.com, that embed can set its own cookies. Where we do that, we will place it in a consent category so it does not load unless you allow it, and we will name it here.

Do Not Track And Global Privacy Control

Browsers send different signals about tracking and there is no single standard for how a site must respond.

We do not track you across other websites at all, so there is nothing for such a signal to switch off in our case. If we ever add anything that would qualify, we will honor recognized opt out signals and say so here.

Cookies We Do Not Use

To be plain about it: we do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, cross site tracking cookies, fingerprinting, or session replay.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy, particularly when we add or remove a tool that sets cookies. When we do we change the "last updated" date at the top. If we add a new category of cookie, we will ask for your consent again before it runs.
